I should like to advise you that the salle will be closed for the two evenings of 26^th December 2008 and 2^nd January 2009 and that fencing will resume on Friday 9^th January 2009.

The Membership has changed significantly since last year and I would ask that you study the updated list attached carefully in order to ensure that you may properly welcome the new members into our midst.

Also, a final reminder, that subscriptions - for those not renewing - are long overdue. At Christmas I must be in a position to determine whether I can honour my annual commitments to JES and Trevor.

Finally, I would like to hold a Salle Dinner and I am currently considering late January or early February as a suitable time. Perhaps you would let me know your views on the matter.
